10 wards entered this year’s (2016) best decorated ward Christmas competition. League judges again commented on the very high standard together with the number of wards taking part during which can be a very busy time of year.
The winners were Gwenllian ward, with Preseli second. Cilgerran and Teifi ward sharing third prize.
Certificates prepared by the league’s minute secretary – Lis Duffy – were presented to the delighted staff of the successful wards by the League of Friends vice chair Sarah Jenkins and other League members. Sarah paid tribute to all the wards who had taken part in the competition.
