EVERY YEAR SINCE 1970 WE HAVE ALSO PURCHASED CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR EVERYONE IN THE HOSPITAL ON CHRISTMAS DAY. ON AVERAGE THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THOSE GIFTS TOTALS £1000 THEREFORE ANOTHER £50,000 HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE TOTAL.

OVER THE LAST 50 YEARS THE LEAGUE OF FRIENDS HAVE PURCHASED THESE ITEMS FOR GLANGWILI HOSPITAL THROUGH THE GENEROUS DONATIONS OF THE PUBLIC INCLUDING BEREAVED FAMILIES WHO HAVE CHOSEN US TO RECEIVE MONEY IN LIEU OF FLOWERS ON SOMEONE’S DEATH AND ALSO FROM LEGACIES.
