At the April monthly meeting a cheque of £2,000 was presented to the League of Friends by the family of the late Mr Robert Maskell of Cwm Gest farm, Talog.The total was made up of donations received in his memory. In the centre of the photo are Mrs Eirian Maskell,widow and Wyn Maskell,son.
The League of Friends are grateful for the generous donation and the family were assured that the money would be spent for the benefit of patients and staff on Steffan Ward in accordance with their wishes.
Over the last 3 years the Maskell family aided by 2 other farms in their community have also been responsible for the Chemo Unit in Glangwili benefitting by up to £20,000.Yng nghyfarfod misol Ebrill cyflwynwyd siec o £2,000 i Gynghrair y Cyfeillion gan deulu Mr Robert Maskell, fferm Cwm Gest, Talog. Mae Cynghrair y Cyfeillion yn dra diolchgar am y rhodd haelionus a sicrhawyd y teulu y byddai’r arian yn cael ei ddefnyddio er lles cleifion Ward Steffan yn ol eu dymuniad.
Dros y tair blynedd diwethaf mae y teulu Maskell ynghyd a dwy fferm arall yn eu cymdogaeth wedi bod yn gyfrifol fod yr Uned Chemo yn Glangwili ar eu hennill o £20,000.
